Task 1 Values Audit

In my opinion, responsibility, initiative, friendship, loyalty, leadership is the five important values in life. If you have these five values, I think you are getting closer and closer to success. Responsibility, is everyone must have. No matter what you do, you must have a responsibility. Whether you are in your work or in your life, it is important to be responsible.” Responsibility is one of the most important qualities of a person. Children should learn to take responsibility.” (Hicks, Kelli L, 2013). Initiative will help you keep making progress. Initiative is the driving force of a person's development. Friendship is very important to a person's success.” Friendship is a wealth of life, playing a vital role in your life.”(Mitias, Michael H. 2012). A vast network of contacts will be a wealth of your work. Each top leadership is very valued staff loyalty. Loyalty, is the most basic requirements of each person. Leadership, is the ability to set up a vision goal, is to make yourself and others committed to the long-term success of the enterprise, is to inspire confidence and enthusiasm of others, is the ability to ensure the implementation of the strategy.

In the future, I would like to work in the related to product sales. I like the kind of the feeling of success after selling a product. As a sales staff, I think need to master many skills. For example, with the introduction of the products, understanding of product features, and even the product after-sales service. In my university, I learned how to write a paper, how to make a speech, interpersonal relationship, communication with consumers, marketing products. These skills will be of great help to my work in the future. Paper can better reflect the product sales, speech can make people know more about our products. Maintain friendly relations with customers can make our sales.

Task 2 Capability Audit

Every employers choose employees standard is not the same. Analysis of graduates, employers choose employees’ standard is very useful. Through to the Australian articles which from Unit Guide, I found the five important standards when the employer choosing employees. The ability of language expression. The ability of manage. The ability of team work. Attitude and enthusiasm toward work. The ability of professional skills.

2.1 Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively

Communicate expression ability. In the modern society, because of the rapid development of economy, people's communication is becoming more and more frequent. “Effective communication is critical for Donors, Members and Volunteers.”(Jossey-Bass, 2013). The importance of language expression ability is also increasing, good eloquence is more and more considered as the essential ability of modern people. In people's daily communication, with the gift of eloquence to the dull topic to very attractive, and mouth stupid mouth which even topic he speaks very good, people also sounds dull. In the summer of 2014, I was of a ceramic tile sales company to do intern in my hometown. Although only a short, two months, but I learned a lot of things. For me, I learned how to communicate with customers. With better product introduction and language communication, customers will be more recognition of our products.

2.2 Good organizational and administrative skills

Management ability, refers to a system of organization and management skills, leadership, and so on, the ability to improve the organization's efficiency. Administrators can find errors. The manager has received a deviation from the information, it is necessary to take measures to correct the deviation between the actual results and the standard deviation, must be corrected. As long as there is a deviation between the target and the results, there are some reasons, and the deviation should be from the study of the reasons for this deviation. Managers also need to learn to innovate. Business management is in a constantly changing dynamic environment, many cases are no precedent to follow, in particular, to make every manager realize that management is not only with the established way to repeat many times of operations, but more important is to continue to explore new ways to find new procedures, and continuously improve the quality of management.

In my college life, I am the monitor of our class. Management class for me, it is my job and responsibility. In our class, some students may make some mistakes sometimes. I will correct his mistakes and educate him in time. Our class will often have a class meeting. We'll talk about a lot of new ideas. I think this is the innovation of our class.

2.3 Proven ability to work as part of a team

Team work ability, refers to build on the basis of the team, play a team spirit, mutual assistance in order to achieve the maximum efficiency of the team. For members of the team, not only to personal ability, the more need in different position from each according to his ability, and other members of the coordination and cooperation ability. Team members together constantly discussion, if a person opinionated and can not listen to the opinions of others, or not and others agree, team work will not be able to carry on. As a member of the college football team it, I am very proud of. Football, is the need for the unity of our people to carry out the movement. No matter how well you play, you can't beat a whole. In our solidarity efforts, our college football team won the League Championship in 2014. I think this title is the result of our solidarity and cooperation.

2.4 Well-developed customer service skills

In the work, we should be treated correctly. We should have a good attitude towards our customers. We need to have a passion for our customers. We want to make our customers satisfied with our service. Attitude to form a mental set, it will affect how we look at the cause of the. To be successful in your career, you must take a positive attitude to work. Positive is a person to the performance, and any enterprise are actively promoting a style of work. Only the positive action to bring positive results, it requires us to see how the wind blows, actively cooperate with the competent work, can consider a little further, thought to act, hyperactivity of the brain, often move the brain, work, leisure, thinking and things, do some of the work plan, planning and the like have to work. Also in the work must be with passion and energy, and showed his optimistic and enterprising spirit to side, do not refuse to accept the task and slack. I was in a bank to practice for a period of time when I was 20. At that time, I always had a good attitude towards customers.

2.5 Proven ability to manage projects

To manage your own team, you need to have a good command of relevant professional skills. Only in their own understanding of this area, and be better lead team. The quality of professional skills refers to the teaching of the education, through learning and training, and gradually formed the operational skills and thinking skills. For me, the relevant knowledge of international trade is my professional skills. To learn my present knowledge, is the biggest advantage of my future candidates. Task 1 – Values Audit

In my view, the values of loyalty, persistence, optimism, friendliness and innovativeness have great influence on people’s life. (Kyle, 2017) The values help people find their right direction and judge the appropriateness of the position they chose, and drive people to interact with others and develop further. (Susan, 2017) Thus, the consideration of values is of great significance. From my sight, Loyalty is essential for everyone, while persistence and optimism make people work in a better status. And it is friendliness and innovativeness that have potential effect on people’s career and life.


When I graduated, I will take 2-year administration work in CUFE, and then pursue further study in finance. Through the undergraduate course, I have learnt the management skills, which will help me deal with the school matters. Also, I studied computer skills that is important in my daily work. I have prepared several reports and know the structure well to do my future work well. In addition, I have done many quantitative analysis, which will be helpful when I want to figure out the best way of thinking. With accounting knowledge, I will do well in finance work.

Ø Response to the common selection criteria

ü Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively

Involved in the rapid development of technology, the approaches to connect with each other have been enriched, such as telephone and WeChat. While the face-to-face communication skills have been ignored by graduates, which is also of great importance when taking part in the interviews. The ability to communicate in an effective way is essential and significant. (Alison, 2017) Actually, during my years as monitors and my intern period, I really felt it important to communicate with others well. When I took charge of the class, I had to discuss with teachers to organize the activities and promote the class; I found that things would go into a mass if I did not get the points of the discussion. In addition, as an intern, I had to listen to my boss’s suggestion and finish given work; if there is no effective communication, it will be terrible. After realizing that, I did my work better, and seldom make mistakes.


ü Good organizational and administrative skills

The skills of organizing and administrating also matters when the tasks are heavy and stressed. Both in school and company, organizational capabilities should be developed to promote the process of the project and get ahead over the competitors. (Luanne, 2017) As for that I have been the director of media department and the Student Union, I get great benefits from the organizational skills. I have organized variety of contest and activities. It required me to think at advance, consider all the factors and uncertainty, make plan B, and always preparing to solve the problems. To do that, I had to make plan and coordinate related departments to give the best result. It is the skill of organizing that really matters.


ü Proven ability to work as part of a team

Nowadays, everyone is supposed to have the sense of teamwork. Within the team, the one should know the distribution of the task, develop team discussion or other interactions consciously and end up with a consequence. It is may not that the task challenges the team, but the relationship and daily interaction. Team members should understand team goals, agree upon the process for pre-discussion, analyzing and deal with the conflicts or team problems together. (Susan, 2017) In that way, the team will achieve greatness together. Teamwork usually took place in my study and work. We did the projects in the form of group, and we organized the party together. Though there may be some problems when communicating with each other, I am sure that the teamwork improved the efficiency and accuracy of the work. I enjoy the process of corporation and teamwork, and I think it is very important.


ü Well-developed customer service skills

I have worked in a customer service role in a Café when I was 14. Facing various consumer of different age and diverse occupation, I kept smiling and gave my best service. And the experience helped me develop my customer service skills. Without the skills, I may find my business or work embarrassed or lose my consumers for the bad service experience. (Gregory, 2017) When offering service to consumers, patience is the most important, especially faced with bad-tempered consumers. Also, clear communication skill and a goal oriented concentration also matter. (Gregory, 2017)


ü Proven ability to manage projects

Through the years in university, I had lots of experience to be the leader of the projects or social activities, and I am aware of the access to manage an activity in proper way. In addition, I think that the experience and awards are the clearest way to prove one’s ability and leadership to manage projects. Thanks to my organizing experience, I feel it uncomplicated to manage a project, which may be difficult for others.



Ø Individual further development

I feel that I should continue to promote my skills in the aspect of customer service as for that I do not have many experience offering others service. The experience in café as a custom service role has helped me a lot, so I would like to search more similar and finance-related jobs. At first, I prefer to offer service in banks, where the consumers need financial aid and suggestion. And it can also promote my communication skills because I need to talk with my consumers everyday. Frankly speaking, I believe that experience can shape one’s thought and action. With more experience of service, I can be more efficient in the future work tasks, especially the service and communication. I would like to get in touch with various people, which will enrich my experience and let me know the society more.

Active and corporative, able and adaptable, dutiful and careful; YES, it’s me, an under-graduated girl from Centre University of Economics and Finance, majoring in International Trade and Risk Management. My name is Wang Ning, you can also me Vannie as well. And I am now looking for a full-time position in finance in your company. With basic knowledge of economics, I have done some academic works in the area of green finance and new energy development. Also, I have taken several internships related to finance and economy, such as Economy information analysis intern in State Information Centre. In addition, I volunteered in the Student Union as director throughout my whole school years, and directed great amount of research during the social practice. So, you can believe in my academic and organizing ability. As the director of the media department, I know the computer skills well.
